Did you know...

Did you know that the average American drinks 25 gallons (~95 litres) of milk per year?

If you currently drink 2 cups 2% milk a day, did you know that if you switched to 1%, you would lose 4 lbs a year?

And that if you switched to skim milk, you would lose just under 8lbs a year?

I'd say that's a pretty easy way to lose some weight...

What if you switch to regular soy?

Hi Jme,

Regular soy milk has about 130 calories per cup and the light versions have ~70 calories (less than 1 cup skim milk!).

If you normally drink 2 cups of the regular soy milk a day and switched to the lighter version, you'd lose ~12 lbs after a year.

And remember, soy milk is not from an animal source so the fat it contains is not saturated fat... another bonus!
